Efforts to Improve the Ability to Recognize Letters Through Alphabet Mini Book Media in Pembina II Public Kindergarten in Surabaya

This study aims to improve children's ability recognize letters through the alphabet mini book media. research is a classroom action conducted in 3 cycles. The subjects this were students class A3 of TK Negeri Pembina II Surabaya, totaling 20 children consisting 11 boys and 9 girls. Methods data collection using observation documentation. Data analysis technique uses simple descriptive statistics. results showed that increased, namely on indicator mentioning name letter cycle 1 by 50 Percent, 2 70 85 mentioned initial picture 35 65 as well indicators writing 30 80 Percent. Based these it can be concluded media aged 4-5 years.
